This board is made from sustainable Acacia wood (FSC certified). Acacia wood is a relatively soft wood and is therefore the kindest surface for keeping your kitchen knives sharp for longer.
Treat with a vegetable oil before first use and repeat the treatment regularly. The board has a juice groove on every side and is easy to pick up thanks to the recessed handles in the sides.
Clean with warm water, a soft sponge and (optional) a mild detergent. Wipe off the board straight away and then leave to dry in an upright position. This wooden board is not dishwasher safe.
